| Hello all! 👋 |
| |
| I don't know where you're from, but right now at HQ, it is cold 🥶. My car, Cammy, (yes she has a name and pronouns) has been struggling in below zero temperatures. She has also been making some worrying sounds.....😬 |
| |
| Ok anyway, what I'm trying to say is - now's a great time to be warm inside and building projects! 💪 I've got a variety of options to share with you all. Give everything a quick look to see if it will help your club! |

Time for CADventures! |
| Waits for the pun haters to finish critiquing the title above. At times, it may feel like Hack Club is coding focused. Here are some opportunities to do something different and take home physical projects your members designed themselves. |
| |
| |
Build with CAD. Get a 3D printer for the Club! 🏗️ |
| |
- Collectively build for 50 hours.
|
- Get a 3D printer to print projects!

- Design and submit cookie cutters
|
- We will ship them either to the leader or individual members
|
- Receive $5 per participant to purchase baking supplies or snacks for your next meeting!
|
| |

Build a Flavorless Website. Get Flavor. 👩🍳 🧑🍳 |
| |
I'm on a fire with these eye roll inducing headlines! 🙄 Well, this program is great practice after completing Boba Drops. By removing CSS, it will allow participants to focus on their Git and HTML skills. Maybe they'll experiment 🧪 a bit and try to add a JavaScript function! Start your workshop here! |
| |
| There are two tiers for earning pizza money 🍕💰. Here's how it works per website: |
| |
| 5+ unique HTML features: | | $3 | | | 5+ HTML and 1+ JavaScript | | $5 | | | |

| Ever wondered how Kindles work? Follow our guides to create an original app for a Kindle or another e-ink device, and we'll ship you one to tinker with yourself! (P.S Cool submissions earn an e-ink keychain you can customize yourself). |

Welcome to Hack Club's Sleepover! 😴 |
| |
| Sleepover is a beginner-friendly coding program made by teen girls, for teen girls. No experience required! |
| |
| Here's how it works: |
- Spend 30 hours learning and building small projects. (That's just ~10 hours per month).
|
- For every hour you code, you earn feathers that can be redeemed for prizes like plushies, digital cameras, AirPods, iPads, and more!
|
| |
| Along the way, we host step-by-step workshops, cozy late-night "lock-in" calls, and monthly challenges so no one is learning alone! |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| From April 10th to 13th, we’re turning Manhattan into a board game for you and 100 Hack Clubbers from all over the world where you’ll come together, complete challenges, and compete against each other for control of the city. Make new friends, explore the city, and embark on a adventure you won’t forget! |
| |
| Here's how you can get started: |
| |
- Log 40 hours (only 4-5 hours a week!) working on any programming project 💻
|
| |
- Fly out to New York City 🛫
|
- Be the last team standing 🏆
|

| Maybe this joke will be lost to many. I figured this would be the 'Dear Abby' section where I answer a question for all to learn from my exceptionally sage advice. Maybe my ego has gotten a bit out of hand. Anyway.... |
How do I use Flavortown with a club of beginners? |
| |
| This can be a challenge. A difficult part of being a beginner is generating ideas of what to build. They may not be empowered enough to know what to make. Here's my recommendation of how you can get to a point where they can build independently for Flavortown to earn bigger rewards. |
| |
| First, do a beginner level program so they can practice a new skill and get a quick reward. Have them choose from one of these: |
| |
| |
Next, set them up with Flavortown profiles. Get them building using the skills they just learned. This project could be for themselves, someone else, or just for the memes. Now, their time learning will count toward larger prizes. 😎 |

| That's it! You did it. You suffered through another Jared newsletter! |
