Hey all - Zach here, Hack Club founder.

I'm so excited to announce Hack Club Stasis!

Learn how to design cool hardware projects, get up to $400 USD to build them.

Then get flown out from anywhere in the world to Austin, Texas for a flagship hardware hackathon with 100+ teenagers on May 15th - 18th, 2026.

Sign up for Hack Club Stasis
Open for anyone ages 13-18 worldwide! Travel stipends available.

Here's how Hack Club Stasis works:

  1. Sign up at stasis.hackclub.com (sign up with your friends so you can build stuff together!)
  1. Create a project and start journaling your design process.
  1. Submit your project for review and get up to $400 USD to build it.
  1. Earn bits for every project you submit, once you earn 350 bits, you'll get your invite to the in-person event :)
  1. Fly to Austin, Texas on May 15-18, 2026 for a 4-day hardware hackathon with 100+ other awesome teenagers.
  1. Can't make it to the event in Austin? We'll have a shop where you can get awesome stuff like 3D printers, soldering irons, and more!

Travel stipends and need-based travel grants are available! More information about that will be released in the coming weeks.

Never built a hardware project before? Don't know where to start? We can't wait to help you! We'll have starter projects that beginners can use, and if you ever need help with anything, join the Hack Club Slack and chuck a message in #stasis-support!

Lastly, Stasis is dedicated to getting more girls and gender minorities in hardware and is committed to having 40% of our participants be girls! We have a ton of resources and support for our female / nonbinary students to be able to build their first hardware project!

See you in Austin :-)

Zach
